itsKaze, born Dante Hawkins, started writing when he was six years old. After seeing his cousin writing, he decided to give it a shot and discover a new love.

His first ever story, James Pizza, went on to be enjoyed by his whole class. It was a horror story which turned into a series, spanning into 10 parts. Involving his friends and other people in his school at the time.
